Art in Chaos is a project of printed large format histograms of iterated chaotic functions. Using the Peter de Jong map, an iterative system in two dimensions with four parameters (a, b, c, and d). For most values of a,b,c and d the point (x,y) moves chaotically. The resulting image is a map of the probability that the point lies within the area represented by each pixel.
The images in this series are produced using this chaotic map. By gradually adjusting the a, b, c, and d points to create unique beautiful images that show the emotion hidden in the math.
